Broad is Out. Precise Is In.
You hear a lot about niche marketing online. All that means is to find a little sub section in a market, one that has decent amount of interest but not much competition and fly under the radar. To do that, you will need to find niche keywords for that niche market.
There are many great markets you can make money in online. But you will save yourself a lot of time and effort if you don't try to go toe to toe with the 'big boys'.
For example, lets say you want to make money in the weight loss market, which is an extremely competitive market. Why make your life harder than it needs to be by trying to go straight on against millions of competitors? That's just silly.
Instead, why not find a 'little' sub section of that market where there will be much less competition but still enough interest for you to make a very nice living (and remember, this is just one website. You can repeat this method as many times as you want and have dozens of niche websites all making you money).
So, instead of focusing on such a broad term as weight loss, why not find a niche that targets "middle aged women and weight loss"? Or how about "teenage boys weight loss"? See what I mean, you are still in the weight loss market but you are targeting a more precise sub section of the market instead of trying to throw a net over the whole ocean.
Doing this will make it so much easier to make money online. It will just make your life so much simpler and you can find a great list of highly targeted keywords that you can rank for a lot more easily than you would if you went with the broad weight loss terms.
To find highly targeted keywords for your niche all you have to do is to use the free Google Keyword Tool online. Start by entering a broad search term related to your niche, say weight loss for moms. The tool will give you a list of up to two hundred variations of that keyword.
Some of the variations will work, some won't. But it will give you a great place to start. From there you can drill down even further until you have a nice big keyword list to work from.
You also want to make sure that the keywords you choose are highly relevant to your website. Don't choose a bunch of keywords that have a high monthly search volume if they are not highly relevant to what your website is all about. The traffic that you get won't be very targeted and your conversions will suffer.
Finding great niche keywords is one of the most important tasks you can master to have a successful online business. Good keywords may take some time to find but when you do they are like money in the bank. Use the free tools online or invest in some down loadable software, it's up to you. Just make sure you know what you need to look for and the difference between a good keyword and a not so good keyword.

What Should I Outsource?
Any business â" whether it is a home business or a large corporate venture â" entails a lot of things. With a large business, it is quite easy to see that there are a lot of things involved, but even with home businesses there are various processes, such as the planning aspect, the finding work aspect, the execution of the tasks aspect, the communication aspect, the payment handling and accounting aspect and the further investment aspect. If you are planning to be a home business entrepreneur, you can see that there are various things for you to do. So, which of these can you outsource?
Now, with the Internet making the whole world such a closely-knit domain, you can find professionals to handle all kinds of tasks. They will even plan a whole business venture for you if you have the funds. However, at least initially, you will be on a budget and would like to outsource only things that you really cannot do.
The best idea, then, is to outsource some of the execution aspect of your business. Like, if your home business is about handling content writing jobs, you could outsource the actual writing part. However, the things that are integral for keeping your business going such as planning, obtaining work, communicating with clients, payment handling, etc. should be done by yourself. A lot of people obtain work for higher sums of money and pay a flat rate to writers whom they outsource the work to, keeping the difference as their earnings.
It really helps when you outsource the execution part of your work because of various reasons.
The execution part is always the most laborious task. If you are running a website design and development company, the actual designing of the website is the most difficult thing. If this aspect were outsourced, you could focus on getting more clients, while at the same time you are getting the jobs done as well.
Also, you can control the execution part better. When some content is written by your employee, you could check its quality and send it back for proofreading or editing if required. When someone designs a logo for your client, you could review it and suggest changes. You can thus supervise these things overall.
When your business grows, you will find that you need to outsource many more things. You might need someone for data entry just to maintain the records of your business. You might need someone just to communicate with your various clients and keep them updated with whatâs happening. You might need someone to handle the bidding or other routes in which you obtain work. You might even need a virtual manager to handle all these aspects of your business at once.
Know that it is possible to find outsourcing professionals for all your needs, from telemarketing to the complete management of your business. The main thing is in knowing when to use these professionals.

Your Business on Social Sites
The goal of business owners is to make money. This often results with the selling of a particular product or service. However, to sell that product or service business owners need to alert the general public. Customer cannot buy a product or a service if they do not know that it exists. That is why, as a business owner, you need to advertise your business.
When it comes to advertising there are many business owners who literally cringe. Are you doing this now? There is a good chance that you are because many advertising methods cost money. As a business owner you want to make money not spend it, right? Unfortunately, if you believe that all forms of advertising take money, you are sadly mistaken. Although you may have to spend money to make your business what you want it to be, there are ways to promote your business and the products or services that you sell without having to spend any money at all.
Is your curiosity peaked yet? There is a good chance that it is, rightfully so. One of the ways that you can promote your online business, without having to spend a dime, is by using something that is readily available online. That thing is an online social networking website. A large number of Internet users, in fact millions of them, belong to at least one social networking website.
When it comes to social networking, there are many individuals who think of online friendships or online relationships. While these types of relationships are the most common, did you know that social networking is also used for businesses? In fact, that was originally how social networking got started. If you are a small business owner, especially one that operates an online business, there is a way that you can use social networking sites to your advantage.
Although social networking websites are traditionally focused on those that would like to make online friends or develop online relationships, there are networking sites that are designed for business owners. These websites will not only allow you to share your business information with other business owners, but it will also allow you to develop close relationships with those that share an interest that is similar to yours. Essentially, this means that you could not only learn valuable business information, but you could also walk away with a new business partner or a new friend.
As previously mentioned, social networking websites with a focus on businesses, are a great way to promote your business. However, this does not mean that you should completely forget about the other online social networking websites, the ones that are designed to make online friendships.
If you are looking to join an online community, you will need to create your own profile or profile page. If you are planning on joining a traditional social networking website, to gain access to millions of potential new customers, you are urged to be careful when making your online webpage or profile. One thing that Internet users hate is being solicited for business. This does not mean that you cannot use social networking to your advantage; it just means that you need to be careful with how you do it. Instead of creating a MySpace page or a Yahoo! 360 page for your business, you are advised to make one for yourself, but, of course, you will want to include information on your business.
By joining a social networking website, especially one that is popular and has a large number of members, you should be able to generate interest in your business, including the products or services that you sell. Who knows, but that interest generated could turn into sales; thus making your social networking experience more than worth it.

Offline Companies: A Potential Goldmine For Internet Consultants
If youâre an online company who specializes in consulting, youâd be wise to turn your eye to the thousands of businesses that have no sort of Internet footprint whatsoever. Your business may primarily deal with startups who come to you looking to better their Internet presence, but the fact of the matter is that there are potentially millions of dollars worth of customers who wonât look your way at all. This is not because theyâre inherently opposed to the Internet, just that many people are wary of the Internet and donât know how to approach it at all.
The people who arenât on the Internet at all should be a prime concern if youâve got an online consulting business that deals with helping companies improve their online images. Of course, most of the time youâre used to having clients come to you to request your services, but being proactive on your part can reap great rewards. Not only is this a mostly untapped source of revenue, but also most businesses can benefit from any sort of online presence, even if itâs something as simple as a Twitter account. If you can introduce web-wary clients to these easy to navigate tools, youâll be able to build a steady business relationship with them and help them take it to the next level when they feel comfortable.
Of course, the first question to ask is thus: how do you, an online consultant, get in touch with companies who arenât online at all?
The simple answer? Go local.
You likely know of a few hole in the wall spots around town that arenât likely to have a very strong Internet presence, if they have one at all. Consider actually physically going to these businesses â" yes! Get off the Internet for a moment â" and see if you can talk with the owners about their online marketing potential. Of course, acting like a door-to-door salesman might not be your style, but consider working through contacts to see if you can speak with the owner on a more âfriendlyâ level, rather than walking straight up and offering your services. Not to say that the blunt approach wonât work sometimes â" you might be surprised with how often it will â" but being able to work through connections will often make the process easier. And once you have one client under your wing, itâs amazing how fast word will spread.
The old adage âthink globally, act locallyâ is so true in the case of online consulting companies working with offline customers. Youâll need to think of terms of the Internet â" which is a worldwide endeavor â" but also bring your local knowledge and connections into play as well. When you combine these two initiatives, youâll be surprised at how powerful they can be.

How to Drive Traffic to Your Blog?
Having a blog is just as popular as it has ever been. Sure, blogs may not get as much attention as they once did, but they are one type of website that looks as if it's here to stay. No matter why you have a blog--to earn money, to promote a product, or just as personal journal--it's only logical that you would like to know how to increase blog traffic. After all, you have it online for a reason, right? Wanting to get more traffic to it is only natural.
First, some good news: search engines love blogs. This means you have a good chance of picking up what's known as 'organic traffic'. The main search engines are looking for is to return relevant results to the people who are searching. Blogs fit the bill on two counts:
1. Blogs are centered around one topic. Maybe it's a personal blog where you talk about the stuff that happens to you, or the ideas you have. In that case, the focus is. On the other hand, if you're blogging to make money, then your blog will have a more narrow focus. Either way, the search engines like this type of content.
2. Blogs are updated on a regular basis. Search engines tend to place more importance on those websites that have newer content. Once you understand this, it should give you all the motivation you need to post to your blog frequently. Every day or do should be just fine, but try your best to not wait more than one week between posts.
That explains why blogs are a good choice for sharing your message with the world, but what about ways to increase blog traffic? One thing you can do is learn some of the basics of search engine optimization (also known as SEO). This will teach you what things you can do to make your blog look better for the search engines, and that can bring you more traffic.
Choosing the right keywords to build your content around is one of the first things you need to do. You need to find out what terms people are entering at the search engines, and then find out how many are searching for each keyword or phrase. It's not really a complicated process, but it takes a bit of time to find the best keywords. Doing so will help you to write your posts in a way that will give you the biggest return on your efforts.
The other way to increase blog traffic is to submit articles to article directories. You should have already done the most important step, which is keyword research. You then simply write articles based on those keywords, and then submit them. At the end of the article, you will be allowed to add a link back to your site. This is a double whammy because one of the things that search engines like nearly as much as blogs is search engines.
Mesmeric Colors in Printing Services
People are basically visual creatures. They are easily turned on by what they see. The outrageousness of the design, graphics and colors teases their sense of sight. It sends excitement and thrill that generates more appetite to stare longer and be charmed.
Among design, graphics and color, the latter is the most difficult to show accurately. This is because color perception can be affected by lots of factors. First, it depends on the structure of a personâs eye. The viewer may be colorblind. Colorblindedness may vary. It can be either slight or acute. Another factor is the impact of one color to another when placed side by side. This can happen either through reflection or visual illusion. How do this happen? To make a clear notion, you can practice this: hold a bright red colored paper or object right next to a white piece of paper. Do this near a sunny window. As you can observe, the paper turns into a pastel color of red which is pink.
With regards to printing services, colors vary. Colors may not match especially if you use different printing services, some may use CMYK while others prefer Pantone colors. Colors may also vary between presses. It depends on the setup or calibration used. Thus, if your printed materials were printed on different machines or at different interval, the appearance may vary.
To minimize inaccuracies and misrepresentations, you can use or ask your printer to use the Pantone Matching System (PMS) colors. With this printing process, the exact colors of your logo or graphics can be had. You can also select from a wide array of paper choices that have different textures and colors. However, this process is more expensive compared to the 4 Color Printing and is limited up to three colors only.
4 Color Printing otherwise known as full-color printing or process color printing uses CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) inks in printing. They are printed as tiny dots called screen or line screen. These dots create a miniature rainbow of colors. If your printing job needs a wide range of colors like photograhy, you can use 4 Color Printing. One of the latterâs drawback though is that it is also limited in a way that it cannot produce metallics and very bright colors.
If you want to produce âmatch proofsâ of your colors and to ensure that the colors are close to each other, compare first the colors of 4 Color Printing and Pantone. There are also books that show how Pantone colors will translate to CMYK. These books can help you translate Pantone colors into CMYK so that your print jobs can be had in the most economical way.
Colors can capture the rage of an individualâs zeal and let him get lost in it. Be sure to keep your colors teasing and haunting!
Web Word of Mouth Marketing Exposed
Online marketing presents you with an opportunity to get more bang for your buck compared to traditional marketing. This is particularly true for word of mouth marketing.
Word of Mouth Marketing on The Web
Word of mouth marketing refers to a type of marketing that promotes something by enticing independent parties to promote the service, idea or product to friends.
The idea is to create a buzz for the subject matter. In creating the buzz, the goal is to create enough word of mouth momentum to get the idea to spread quickly. People are the sole conduit for the momentum.
If you get it right, an entire product can become an established success with little or no paid marketing.
A classic example of word of mouth marketing, often called viral, is the situation involving Red Bull. Red Bull is an energy drink. When it was first introduced in Europe, rumors spread that the drink was an aphrodisiac. Nobody knows who started the rumors, but Red Bull became very popular. It then evolved into a mixer for alcoholic drinks in nightclubs and the rest is history. It is a hugely popular product and much of the popularity arose through this word of mouth process.
Word of mouth marketing online works in much the same way. The primary difference is it tends to happen much quicker than in the real word. The Internet is full of forums where like minded people congregate. A new, cool product, idea or service can blow up a site over night. If you donât believe me, consider the wild success of the My Space platform, Napster, EBay and so on.
Most of these sites grew into behemoths because of word of mouth endorsements, not paid advertising.
Obviously, this type of marketing can lead to tremendous riches. Unfortunately, it isnât particularly easy to accomplish. Everyone is trying to do it, so you really need to be pushing something unique.
If you can come up with something, it is time to hit forums and other sites to create a buzz.
A traditional way to pursue viral marketing online is to offer a free e-book. The book will detail your thoughts on some subject matter, such as marketing.
One makes the book available for downloading and also allows people to send it to others. If you are offering something of quality, the book should spread quickly to thousands and thousands of people.
The ultimate goal is to promote it over and over until hundreds of thousands of people have read it. At that point, you write another e-book which you sell for $3 to $7.
If people liked the first book, they will buy the second.
If 100,000 read the first one and only 10 percent buy the second, you will have 10,000 sales.
This strategy has been pursued over and over by many authors.
The word of mouth approach is definitely a hit and miss strategy. The large online communities make it a viable strategy, but there are a lot of people trying to do it.
If you fail 50 times, but succeed once, life will be very good.
Essentials of getting traffic to your Youtube Channel
Video: Brad talks about how to get more traffic from your YouTube channel.
How to Obtain Link Popularity
In this quick report I will tell you how you can gain link popularity for your website and at the same time your website will be receiving targeted visitors. Increasing your link popularity will increase visitors and you will sale more. For better result promote only one URL and not the entire website. Make sure you have search engine friendly meta tag and URL.
Follow the steps below.
Step 1. Search Engine and Directory Submission
Submit your website to search engines and directories. For best result, it is recommended that you manually submit your website to search engines and directory to the right category. Most search engines and directories offer free submission.
Step 2. Articles Distribution
Create or buy articles with the keyword that you want to advertise. Example, if you have a payday loans website then you should write some articles about it or find someone who can write them for you. I do recommend that you submit about 50 articles related to the keyword that you are advertising. If you do not want to write the articles then for example go to http://bit.ly/c8I4bI and post a project asking for articles about the keyword that you are advertising. You must mention that the articles that you are buying are for redistribution. After you get the articles, that you will distribute, at the bottom of every articles you should ad the link of the website that your are promoting. See example below on the bottom of this article.
After all your articles are ready to distribute then go to iSnare.com. They will submit your articles to a network of 1500 niche content sites. There you must buy credit to distribute your articles. 1 = $2 (ezinearticles.com is a free & popular option) You only need one credit per article. Also many websites are looking for articles to add to their own website, so you will getting a link back every time your article is posted to another website.
Step 3. One Way Link Exchange
In this step you will buy a membership at the IndexGuy.com link exchange. Link exchange is not a good practice, but you can buy this account because is like paying to directory to get your website added in certain category.
Click http://bit.ly/74dku link to go to IndexGuy.com and shop for a membership. I personally recommend the Bronze Membership for $6.95 a month and you will get +3000 inbound links (This number is daily increasing).
That's it. Now you can wait to get listed at search engines and directories. Some search engine might take up to two months in order to list your website. But your popularity will build up with time. Just be patient.

Three Flawless Ways To Lose Your Clients
1. Let Them Procrastinate
Yeah, procrastination has stolen millions of dollars from the pockets of business men and women just like yourself. The longer it works on the customer, the less likely they will be to open their wallet and hand over the dinero they've been hoarding there.
Here's how it works⦠First, the customer leaves your store without making the purchase. Second, time causes the desire for the product to fade, and distracts them from making their way back. Finally, your "almost customer" totally forgets about making the purchase, and you can kiss potential profits good-bye.
Don't let it happen to you! Make deals so irresistible they just can't say no, and set an expiration date. Yes, put a little press on them to buy TODAY! Reward them for complying, and make sure they forfeit the deal if they don't. Don't be victimized by "almost sales" that could be turned into REAL profits!
2. Stay Off The Top Of Their Priority List
Hey, sometimes we need to be reminded of exactly what is and what isn't important in life. Where we spend our money indicates its level of importance. Are your customers telling you that your product isn't significant to them?
Put them where you want them to be with a dramatic word picture that evokes the emotions that drive purchases. Let me say it this way⦠If you're trying to sell them a home business⦠let them feel the freedom of being their own boss, and setting their own schedule. Are you selling water skis?
Get them on the water in the hot summer sun with the wind blowing their hair and water spraying around them. Let them FEEL the importance of the decision.
You CAN motivate buyers to put a high priority on your product!
3. Don't Build Trust
Do your customers feel confident that your company will provide the services that it says it will? How many times have you raised an eyebrow at an offer that makes big promises? Yeah, if you don't already know they are a reputable company, you're likely to take claims with a grain of salt.
Unconditional guarantees give credence to your desire to please customers. Testimonials are evidence that you have a proven track record. Put some facts in front of your "almost customers." Let them know a little bit about you and your staff.
It's always easier to trust a person, than a business.
Internet customers are at especially high risks for feeling a legitimate amount of distrust. After all, anyone can make grand claims, but who is responsible for upholding them? A personal photo, a little information, and a phone number where a contact can be reached go a long ways toward building trust on the Web.
How many "almost customers" have slipped through your fingers? You can effectively turn them into loyal customers who regularly frequent your place of business with the business savvy insights we've talked about in this article.

The Benefits of Internet and Advertising
No matter how big or small your business is, and no matter how old or new, you can only succeed if people know about it. Whether you do this through radio, television, the newspaper, word of mouth, or over the internet; it is absolutely vital to the success of your business. After all, you may have the best product anywhere, but if nobody is aware of it, then it's the same as not having it at all. Regardless of which methods you are using now, the internet and advertising are ideal for marketing your product or service.
While not everyone on the planet is on the internet, there is an amazing number of people who have access to it. There has never been anything like it in history. It gives you the potential to have customers all around the world. People go online for all kinds of reasons, and most of those reasons go hand-in-hand with the internet and advertising. For example, people often log on to the web to find solutions to their problems. If you are able to offer a solution they are willing to pay for, then you have just made a sale!
Another great thing about advertising online is that you can gather tons of useful information about your site's visitors. Where they are from, what operating system they're using, they're web browser, how long they stayed on your site and what links they clicked are just a few of the things you can find out; each of which can help you to market more effectively.
When it comes to the internet and advertising you have the ability to easily change your marketing message, and it costs virtually nothing to make those changes. But, you don't have to just guess what changes to make because you can track the results of all of your changes. You do this by using what's known as 'split testing'. This is where you make a change or two to something, then compare it to a control. Then you keep whichever performed better, and that becomes the control for your next split test. By repeating these steps you can see major increases in your bottom line.
The low barrier to entry is another benefit of advertising online. There are many methods you can try for no cost at all. Now, these may take longer than the paid options, but they are an excellent way to get started and see what happens. However, don't let the low barrier fool you. You still need to take online marketing seriously. Give careful consideration to who your target market is, and the message you are using to reach them. This is just another aspect of running your business, and should be treated as such.
The internet and advertising are an almost perfect match. In fact, there isn't any reason for you to not add online advertising to your overall marketing plan. It's easy, it's inexpensive, and best of all...it's effective.

Who Should Choose Video For Marketing
After reading a little about web videos for advertising, you may be asking yourself just what type of businesses are taking advantages of this media? The answers are just about everyone who understands the concept of entertainment in advertising.
Just about every business that has a website on the internet is now adding some sort of video advertising to their sites. This ranges from car dealerships, travel agents, real estate agents and even manufacturers. They realize that they get the attention of a viewer right away if a video comes onto the screen instead of a simple advertisement.
Department stores are also beginning to use video advertising on the internet not only on their websites, but also on internet advertising engines such as Google. It simple captures the attention of a potential buyer more than just a plain photo.
Imagine that you have a website that sells T-shirts, for example. A person goes to your website and sees a variety of T-shirts that are for sale. These are often pictured in photos either by themselves or on models. The prices are included, along with an ordering form. Most websites have a search option so if someone is looking for a particular T-shirt, they can find it easier.
The reason models are depicted in T-shirts is to make the product more attractive. More people are apt to purchase a garment featured on a striking model than an average person or on a mannequin. This is simply another way people are visual. They imagine themselves as the model in the T-shirt and feel that they will also look this way once the garment is acquired.
Now imagine you have this same website but decide to implement video advertising as part of your campaign. Instead of clicking on to a website that just depicts a bunch of models in T-shirts, you have a video where a model is wearing the T-shirt and talking about how much she loves her T-shirts from your company.
Or, you decide to go the humor route. A video depicts an unpopular, geeky kid wearing a white shirt with a pencil protector in the pocket and getting his books knocked out of his hands at school. He says something like âIâve had enough of this, Iâm getting myself over to XXX T-shirt company!â
The next clip shows the same student wearing one of the T-shirts and surrounded by a bevy of women. He winks at the camera and says, âXXX T-shirt changed my life - they can change yours, too.â
Corny? Yes. But entertaining and memorable. As a matter of fact, the more humor or unusual aspects you can add to your video, the more people will remember it. They may even like it so much that they post it on their blog or on âYou Tube.â Then you get even more advertising for your business. For free.
Travel agents are quickly discovering that video is the way to go when it comes to advertising on the internet. More and more travel agencies are not just depicting photos of exotic places, but videos of the attractions that can be seen when visiting these places. People feel as though they are taking a trip. They sometimes call this a âvirtual tourâ and it is really quite effective. A virtual tour takes the viewer on a mini vacation all from their home computer. They get to see highlights of the wonderful sights, the hotels, the beaches and a lot of people enjoying themselves. This sparks their imagination. They envision themselves on the tour and it makes them want to visit as well. The more someone knows about the positive aspects of a particular tour, country or vacation spot, the more apt they are to want to book a vacation to this destination.
Speaking of virtual tours, we have already talked about real estate agents in the last chapter. Many real estate companies are now adding video advertising to their websites. Instead of just seeing photos of a home, they see the entire home, just as they were touring it.
In addition to large businesses and professionals using video advertising on the internet, musicians are learning the value of this technology to promote their music and bands. Music videos came out in the 1980s and were frequently depicted on MTV. This was a very popular concept, but soon became very competitive. More and more money was being used to make a more âcreative videoâ for the band. Bands who had creative videos depicting models or something unusual were selling more music than other bands who did not have the capital to create such videos.
In the 1980s, video cameras cost over $1,000. And if you wanted the video to look professional, you had to hire a director and some actors. The music videos of the 1980s were actual commercials for a particular artist or a band. And they cost a lot of money to produce.
Today, not only professional musicians advertise by video on the internet, but amateurs as well. Video cameras no longer cost over $1,000. They are easy to use and the content can easily be downloaded into a personal computer. It is just as easy to upload a video into your webpage as it is to upload a photograph or music. So amateur musicians began promoting their bands on the internet. On MySpace, for example, there are thousands of artists doing this. They do not even have to pay for their MySpace page. It is free. They simply have to have someone film their act with a camcorder, upload it to their site and they are advertising for free on the internet. It sure beats the old days of recording demos for thousands of dollars and trying to find someone on the radio to play them.
Individuals who have something unique to sell are also using video advertising on the internet. They can do this with little or no expense if they choose a venue like You Tube. You Tube allows anyone who is a member to upload their videos for others to see. The more clever the video, the better chance of it being discovered. If you want to draw people to your website, mention it in your funny video and put it on YouTube. Millions of people use this website every day. The videos are often either e-mailed to friends or put on blogs and other spaces. Suppose you have invented a special item to sell. You have a patent but have no idea how to sell it. You have a website and are trying to promote it, but are not having much luck. You can advertise on television, but it costs a fortune; even on cable TV.
Maybe you can come up with a funny video that will draw people to your website that involves your product. You can post this on your site and then wait for people to discover the ad. You can also place it on such video websites as YouTube.
Have you ever dated on the internet? Guess what? You are advertising yourself. You are adverting yourself in the hopes of finding a perfect mate. Many people put false photos of themselves on these sites and many internet daters have grown leery of some of the ads. Yet internet dating is big business. In todayâs busy world, few people have time to go out and meet a special someone. So many people are taking advantage of the internet dating world.
Some internet dating sites offer their clients a way to communicate with another individual through video instead of just plain text. For a small fee, they can post a video of themselves on the site and talk about their likes, and dislikes. In addition to just seeing a photo, a person who is interested also gets to hear a voice and finds out a little bit more about the person he or she is thinking of contacting. It is very difficult to ascertain what a person is like from a photograph. They may have a voice that sounds like Mickey Mouse and really gets on your nerves. Or they may have such an engaging smile and a sexy voice that you really find attractive. This person may look similar to many others who have turned up as your âmatch,â but chances are, you will watch the video and, if you like what you see, you will be more inclined to contact the individual. They will seem like a real person to you, instead of a photograph and text profile.
Car dealerships are another business that are using video technology to advertise on the internet. Car dealerships have always been known for their âover the topâ approach to advertising. They sometimes run specials depicting happy customers getting great deals, or they show a video of a car being driven down the road and being able to make great turns. This cost them much less than advertising on television.
No matter what business you are in, video advertising on the internet can help you attract more customers, gain more exposure for your company and generate new leads and sales. Best of all, it is easy and relatively inexpensive to use. We will discuss how you can do this in the next chapter.

Toll Free Number Linked to Ecommerce. How?
Sometimes skimping on things can save you good money. But skimping is not always the wisest business strategy. For example, I couldâve written this article in the windows program notepad as opposed to Microsoft Word, and saved a good $500 and never had to buy the latest version of Microsoft Office⦠However, wouldnât it be worth the $500 if the improved impression of professionalism put forth in all of my writings some how garnered ten times that in profit? Would you have read this far if I had unknowingly published this article with a horribly obvious typo in the title? Thatâs right â" an insignificant error caused by âsaving moneyâ can actually COST you money in the long run.
## Impression Is Everything! ##
If you have spent months developing a beautiful ecommerce website to give people the impression that you are the safest choice for whatever product or service youâre trying to sell them, then itâd be pretty stupid to have all of that professionalism dismissed by a simple mistake: assuming youâre going to SAVE money by not getting a toll free number!
The fact is, the sight of a toll free number is something that subconsciously stirs an idea of professionalism â" something weâre accustomed to from corporate America. Area codes are for calling your relatives and friends, after all. The phone prefix â800â or â877â or â888â for some reason, as if by magic, stirs in us the image of a phone operator in a tall skyscraper that deals with hundreds of clients a day â" someone that doesnât make their living off of ripping people off. The appearance of professionalism is the embodiment of confidence within the business world.
## Okay, so youâre convinced⦠now what? ##
Not having a toll free number for your ecommerce business (no matter how small) will cost you more in the long run than the short term savings will save you. The best part is though that toll free numbers are not NEARLY as expensive as one might be inclined to think! In fact, at the moment the prices for toll free numbers are as low as 2.7c/min
## What other services can I benefit from? ##
It just so happens that toll free numbers are not the only affordable telecommunications service that might be useful to the owner of an ecommerce web site. Conference calling (for those teleseminars), low long distance rates, broadband or t1 internet access, and more are all examples of things that can be gotten more cost effectively off the internet via web pages.

Which Networks Should You Choose?
There are many horror stories about affiliate programs and networks. People have heard them over and over again, that some are even wary of joining one. The stories they may have heard are those related to illegal programs or pyramid schemes. Basically, this kind of market does not have real, worthy product.
You do not want to be associated with these schemes. It is obvious you want to be with a program that offers high quality product that you will readily endorse. The growing number of those who have joined already and are succeeding immensely is proof enough that there are reliable and quality affiliate programs out there.
Why participate in an affiliate program?
It allows you to work part-time. It gives you the opportunity to build a generous residual income. And it makes you an owner of a small business. Affiliate programs have already created lots of millionaires. They are the living testimony of how hard work; continuous prospecting, motivating and training others pay off.
If ever you are deciding to join one, you must take note that you are getting into something that is patterned to what you are capable of. This will be an assurance that you are capable of doing anything to come out successful.
How do you choose a good affiliate program to promote? Here are some tips you may want to look over before choosing one:
1. A program that you like and have interest in.
One of the best ways of knowing if that is the kind of program you wish to promote is if you are interested in purchasing the product yourself. If that is the case, chances are, there are many others who are also interested in the same program and products.
2. Look for a program that is of high quality.
For instance, look for one that is associated with many experts in that particular industry. This way, you are assured that of the standard of the program you will be joining into.
3. Join in the ones that offer real and viable products.
How do you know this? Do some initial research. If possible, track down some of the members and customers to give you testimonial on the credibility of the program.
4. The program that is catering to a growing target market.
This will ensure you that there will be more and continuous demands for your referrals. Make inquiries. There are forums and discussions you can participate in to get good and reliable feedbacks.
5. A program with a compensation plan that pays out a residual income and a payout of 40% or more would be a great choice.
There are some programs offering this kind of compensation. Look closely for one. Do not waste your time with programs that do not reward substantially for your efforts.
6. Be aware of the minimum quotas that you must fulfill or sales target that is too hard to achieve.
Some affiliate programs imposes pre-requisites before you get your commissions. Just be sure that you are capable of attaining their requirements.
7. Select one that has plenty of tools and resources that can help you grow the business in the shortest possible time.
Not all affiliate programs have these capacities. Make use you decide on one with lots of helpful tools you can use.
8. Check out if the program has a proven system that can allow you to check your networks and compensation.
Also check if they have it available online for you to check anytime and anywhere.
9. The program that is offering strong incentives for members to renew their membership each time.
The affiliate program that provides continuous help and upgrades for its products have the tendency to retain its members. These things can assure the growth of your networks.
10. Be aware of the things that members are not happy about in a program.
Like with the ones mentioned above, you can do your checking at discussion forums. If you know someone in that same program, there is ho harm asking if there are many downsides involved.
Have a thorough and intensive knowledge about the affiliate program and network you will be promoting on.
Knowing the kind of program you are getting yourself into will make you anticipate and prevent any future problems you may encounter.

How To Think Like a Video Marketer
Sad but true, most people would rather watch television than read a book. People love to be entertained. Ever since the advent of television, people began staying inside and watching TV rather than going out with friends. Television has more of an influence on society during the 20th century than anything else. Until the internet. Then things started to change. In addition to just watching television, people could find out information, interact with others and even make money on auctions. And each year, the internet becomes more sophisticated. There are billions of websites out there in internet land. People are now spending more time on the internet than they are watching television. And now that most of the country is on the internet, they are also finding different ways to be entertained online.
In the early days of the internet, most of the information was written. You looked up information and read it. If there was a photo, it caught your eye. People soon began using clip art and other visual effects in their ads, e-mails and websites. It was soon discovered that websites and advertisers who used some form of visual stimulation were attracting more people to their site. This included everyone. Internet communities, such as MySpace began popping up for people to meet and network. These included easy ways that one could download a photo of themselves or friends. It also included ways they could design their pages to make them more attractive.
Which would you rather look at? An attractive, well designed page or a typed written article written in black font on a white background. Of course you would rather look at the attractive page. You are not alone. Human beings are highly visual. Even a cartoon photo can be a source of entertainment and can get someone to read what you want them to read. Have you ever received an e-mail that featured photos or a cartoon? Wasnât that more entertaining than one that featured a text joke (that you already heard 100 times before)?
In the early days of the Internet, advertising consisted of either printed ads that were put on different websites to attract customers and ad banners. When people clicked on to the banner, the owner of the website got money. This was the way the advertisers kept track of which websites were worth their advertising dollars. These advertising vehicles are still being used, but are quickly becoming a thing of the past.
Then pop up ads became popular. People would be on a website and an ad would pop up suddenly. Sometimes it looked like it was part of the site. It would take you to another website for advertising. Sometimes, it was just gathering your information so that you could be barraged by constant e-mails.
The pop up ads were ineffective. Although they attempted, like all ads, to reach a target audience, many people found them annoying. Soon there was a way to block pop up ads from appearing. Many people now use this tool as an option on the internet.
News media soon found that it was very effective to put not only the news coverage of an important case, but actual video clippings. They soon discovered that more people were watching the videos than reading the news. It was easier to do and, more importantly, entertaining. News websites were among the first to realize the impact of adding video to their websites. Now many other companies are following suit.
American people want to be entertained. They want to be entertained on television, at the movies and on the internet. And they even expect their advertisements to be entertaining. A simple banner advertisement has no chance against a good video advertisement. Particularly if it is both informative and has a bit of humor. Not only will the person watch the video, they will share it with others. They will place it on their own websites and blogs and even e-mail it to friends.
Entertainment is the key to good advertising. Gone are the days of the catchy commercial jingle. The banners will soon be on their way out, too. The advertisers who are truly adding to their business are using video advertising in many different ways to draw customers to their products. And the more customers they attract, the more business they get and the more profit they make.
If you truly want to move into the new age of advertising, now is the time. Not only is video advertising on the internet cheaper than commercial advertising, it can be done by just about anyone. You do not have to be Francis Ford Coppola to make a video. Sometimes, the most quirky and funny videos are those that are remembered the most.
If you have a website, it is just as easy to add video as it is to add photographs and texts. Of course you will still have the text and photos, but people will be more intrigued by the video. Particularly if it is entertaining and grabs their attention.
Suppose, for example, you want to sell your home. You want to list it on the internet with a price. But you do not include a photo of the home. Chances are, your home listing will not be viewed nearly as much as those with photos.
Suppose you want to advertise for a date on an internet dating site. But you do not want to add your photo. Chances are that no one will read your profile and think about what a wonderful person you are even if you are Prince William. They will see you have no photo and go on to the next.
Why is this? Because people are visual. They need visual stimulation. They need to imagine themselves in the home or on a date with you before they will even think of contacting you. And do not kid yourself, internet dating is also a form of advertising. And those with photos get much more attention than those without.
Now suppose you want to sell your home and you decide to do something different. Instead of posting a photo of your home on the website, you take a video of the home. You move from room to room with the camera and describe the details. It will make people feel as though they are inside the home. And, virtually, they are. How well do you think that advertisement will do against the home ads with no photos or even those with photos? I guarantee it will do a lot better. You may even be able to ask a higher price.
People do not often have the imaginations we would like to give them credit for. For years they have received their news information, weather reports, sports games and entertainment from television. This has been going on for the past 50 years. And as the entertainment industry has grown, the audience has grown more demanding. They want more visuals. No more implications. No more âleave it to the imagination.â They want to see every detail on the screen.
What makes you think that internet advertisement is any different? Do you honestly think that you are going to get more traffic with a small banner ad or an e-mail with a bunch of long paragraphs than a video ad?
Think about having an exciting new product for a special customer. You want to tell your customer all about it, but it is complicated. It may be technical and too difficult for the customer to comprehend. At best, they will skim over the article. At worst, they will not even read it.
What if, instead, you sent them a video of the product in operation? Do you think they will be more or less interested? If you are unsure about the answer, as yourself the same question. What would you rather see? A video demonstration of an exciting new product or a two page e-mail telling you about it? You know the answer. It is the same reason that you would rather watch the football game on television than listen to it on the radio. Because you, like all human beings, are visual.
Now you need to learn how to make that knowledge work for you by using video advertising on the internet to advertise your business.

Pay Per Click Makes Real Cash
Engaging in pay-per-click (PPC) advertising has its own benefits and drawbacks.
Business nowadays is doing different kinds of austerity measures when it comes to advertising their products and services. This is because of high rates of placing ads on print and on television. But there is a fast growing approach that businessmen can utilize to bring their services closer to the people and that is through Internet Marketing.
One tool that is causing Internet marketing popularity is PPC advertising. This is a technique used in search engine marketing that requires one to pay a fee every time someone clicks an ad on your website. Usually this placement is done through a bidding process. If you are a top bidder for your keywords/phrases, you are sure to be on the number one spot on all search engines. Just be sure of the effectiveness of your ad copy to get the most number of clicks you need for your business.
PPC â" The Pros
You need not be a genius in computer and technology to be able to run this ad campaign.
Immediate results are seen after a few days.
No need to make a website conform to the SEO rules.
Nothing to lose even if you do not top the pages of different search engines. You can still always choose PPC advertising.
You can make use any search engine available.
You can type in any keyword you like.
PPC â" The Cons
Fixed payments every month to the search engine you choose.
Pay for each click received by your website. At times, visitors are just competitors or people playing pranks on search engines. This hassle wastes money you put in to this advertising.
Inability to pay for the fees next month would mean removal of your website on the paid listings.
This advertising can only be used temporarily because it is difficult to handle in the long run.
Pay-per-click pricing can be costly for long periods of time, therefore, this should be stopped after an ad campaign.
But how exactly PPC advertising can increase traffic, leads and sales?
PRE-QUALIFIED TRAFFIC. All visitors of your website are already considered as a qualified consumer or buyer of your product. PPC advertising leads your customers to you for a lesser cost.
INSTANT EXPOSURE, IMMEDIATE PROFITS. PPC search engines enable you to get your desired results fast. They will have your website live within just a few hours which means immediate increase in sale.
CONSISTENT TOP LISTINGS. This is to get your website on top of the sponsored search results for free. You just have to choose the keywords related to your site and business and place them within your web pages. After this, you are done.
PPC advertising enables advertisers to control their advertising campaigns. Advertisers have effectively targeted their audience and set their own price per click. PPC advertising networks provide the platform to identify the desired audience by geographic setting, topic and industry. These networks have a list of websites of the publishers where the ads will be placed.
Tools are provided by the networks to check how the pay per click limit is working for a certain advertiser. If its still competitive, would it be even listed among the paid search lists or does it generate sales? Of course, if the advertiser made the highest bid, the better chances the ad will be seen in the search engine. These networks too provide protection for the advertisers against click fraud. This advertising set-up allows advertisers to set a daily budget for his ads, thus, less spending for unnecessary clicks. Advertiser will never go over his budget.
In PPC advertising, what are important are the keywords and phrases. You have to select at least 10 "very specific" keywords that would give you the best traffic in the search. Then, write the ad creatively but straightforward. Tell the truth about your product or service and do not lie. Good thing if your product or service will not disappoint those that are relying on your ad's promise - but what if it did otherwise? Important too is the clarity of the ad. Do not use very vague languages. Include important details like the price.
Important! You should also remember to budget your bids. Do not go overbidding because you will only lose your money and do not go so low that your ads will never get the chance to show up. Check your profit against your spending. If you see no progress then most likely you have to drop your ad campaign.
More and more advertisers have been using PPC advertising and it will continue to grow faster than any online advertising techniques. From revenues of $2.6 billion in 2004 to $5.5 billion in 2009, cost per click will dramatically go up as well from $0.29 to $0.36.
PPC advertising is new in online marketing and it is going to continue in the years to come. For advertisers, this means increase revenues with fewer advertising expenses, savings, more sales, good return of investment (ROI) and effective ad campaigns in the days to come.

Write Your First Ebook
The hardest part of writing is the first sentence. When you look at the whole project, it seems like an impossible task. That's why you have to break it down into manageable tasks. Think of climbing a mountain. You are standing at the foot of it and looking up at its summit vanishing into the clouds. How can you possibly scale such an immense and dangerous mountain?
There is only one way to climb a mountain: step by step.
Now think of writing your E-Book in the same light. You must create it step by step, and one day, you will take that last step and find yourself standing on the summit with your head in the clouds.
The first thing you have to do, as if you actually were a mountain climber, is to get organized. Instead of climbing gear, however, you must organize your thoughts. There are some steps you should take before you begin. Once you've gone through the following list, you will be ready to actually begin writing your
E-Book.
Beginning Steps to Writing an E-Book
First, figure out your E-Book's working title. Jot down a few different titles, and eventually, you'll find that one that will grow on you. Titles help you to focus your writing on your topic; they guide you in anticipating and answering your reader's queries. Many non-fiction books also have subtitles. Aim for clarity in your titles, but cleverness always helps to sell books as long as it's not too cute.
Next, write out a thesis statement. Your thesis is a sentence or two stating exactly what problem you are addressing and how your book will solve that problem. All chapters spring forth from your thesis statement. Once you've got your thesis statement fine-tuned, you've built your foundation. From that foundation, your book will grow, chapter by chapter.
Your thesis will keep you focused while you write your E-Book. Remember: all chapters must support your thesis statement. If they don't, they don't belong in your book. For example, your thesis statement could read: We've all experienced insomnia at times in our lives, but there are twenty proven techniques and methods to give you back a good night's sleep.
Once you have your thesis, before you start to write, make sure there is a good reason to write your book. Ask yourself some questions:
Does your book present useful information and is that information currently relevant?
Will you book positively affect the lives of your readers?
Is your book dynamic and will it keep the reader's attention?
Does you book answer questions that are meaningful and significant?
If you can answer yes to these questions, you can feel confident about the potential of your E-Book.
Another important step is to figure out who your target audience is. It is this group of people you will be writing to, and this group will dictate many elements of your book, such as style, tone, diction, and even length. Figure out the age range of your readers, their general gender, what they are most interested in, and even the socio-economic group they primarily come from. Are they people who read fashion magazines or book reviews? Do they write letters in longhand or spend hours every day online. The more you can pin down your target audience, the easier it will be to write your book for them.
Next, make a list of the reasons you are writing your E-Book. Do you want to promote your business? Do you want to bring quality traffic to your website? Do you want to enhance your reputation?
Then write down your goals in terms of publishing. Do you want to sell it as a product on your website, or do you want to offer it as a free gift for filling out a survey or for ordering a product? Do you want to use the chapters to create an e-course, or use your E-Book to attract affiliates around the world? The more you know upfront, the easier the actual writing will be.
Decide on the format of your chapters. In non-fiction, keep the format from chapter to chapter fairly consistent. Perhaps you plan to use an introduction to your chapter topic, and then divide it into four subhead topics. Or you may plan to divide it into five parts, each one beginning with a relevant anecdote.
How to make your E-Book "user friendly"
You must figure out how to keep your writing engaging. Often anecdotes, testimonials, little stories, photos, graphs, advice, and tips will keep the reader turning the pages. Sidebars are useful for quick, accessible information, and they break up the density of the page.
Write with a casual, conversational tone rather than a formal tone such as textbook diction. Reader's respond to the feeling that you are having a conversation with them. Break up the length and structure of your sentences so you donât hypnotize your readers into sleep. Sentences that are all the same length and structure tend to be a good aid for insomnia!
Good writing takes practice. It takes lots and lots of practice. Make a schedule to write at least a page a day. Read books and magazines about the process of writing, and jot down tips that jump out at you. The art of writing is a lifetime process; the more you write (and read), the better your writing will become. The better your writing becomes, the bigger your sales figures.
In an E-Book that is read on the screen, be aware that you must give your reader's eye a break. You can do this by utilizing white space. In art classes, white space is usually referred to as "negative space." Reader's eyes need to rest in the cool white oasis you create on your page. If your page is too dense, your reader will quit out of it as soon as their eyes begin to tear.
Make use of lists, both bulleted and numbered. This makes your information easy to absorb, and gives the reader a mental break from dissecting your paragraphs one after the other.
Finally, decide on an easy-to-read design. Find a font that's easy on the eyes, and stick to that font family. Using dozens of fonts will only tire your readers out before they've gotten past your introduction. Use at least one and a half line spacing, and text large enough to be read easily on the screen, but small enough so that the whole page can be seen on a computer screen. You will have to experiment with this to find the right combination.
Of course, don't forget to run a spell and grammar check. You are judged by something as minor as correct punctuation, so donât mess up a great book by tossing out semicolons randomly, or stringing sentences together with commas. (By the way, that's called a "comma splice.")
Last of all: create an index and a bibliography. That's it! You've written a book! Now all you have to do is compile and publish your E-Book online, and wait for download request from your website visitors!

Online Marketing Is Not What You Think It Is!
If you spend any time browsing Internet marketing forums online you will see a disturbing pattern of people who call themselves Internet marketers. What they really do is give those of us who do the work of Internet marketing a bad name. I have come up with three things people do that will absolutely ruin their ability to make any money online.
All you do is try to sell me crap.
If all you do online is try to peddle products and offers, you might get some traffic and you may even make a sale or two but you will never succeed as an Internet marketer. You see the Internet as a big shopping mall. I see it as a virtual community.
You would never do business with a real estate agent who was constantly asking you to sell your house even when you weren't in the market. On the other hand if you knew a real estate agent who was a friend of yours, client, or trusted resource you would probably give your business to them. The most successful off-line business people make themselves available as speakers, as charity event coordinators etc.
You think it's all about Google.
There is nothing worse than an Internet marketer who is just waiting for the next Google update. You might as well be playing the lottery. You can do all the hard work of search engine optimization and Link building, but if your content sucks you have a very slim chance of ranking well.
One of the best lessons I learned in Internet marketing was to give up on Google and pretend they don't exist. The funny thing is the more I do this the more they noticed me. Google doesn't want you to try and game their system, they want you to provide value to the Internet community on the whole. Trust me they will reward you for it.
You think communication can be automated.
You've set up your auto responder, your drip feed, and probably some sales pitches to automatically be delivered to people who opt in to your list over a period of time. This is a very poor way to communicate with your list. There is nothing worse than getting an e-mail from someone where the message is clearly out of date. The only reason I get the letter is because it's part of a chain of letters that will be sent to me automatically until I unsubscribe.
If you are building an e-mail list you really need to consider how you will stay current. As a for instance I don't use drip feeds or auto responders at all. That's not to say I don't do any e-mail marketing, I am building a list all the time. The difference is that I mail my list something that is current in the form of a newsletter which gets broadcast to everyone. If I sent a really good e-mail today and you join my list tomorrow, you will simply miss out on that e-mail.
